I'm delighted to share my review of Notting Hill in the Snow, and thanks again to Rachel from www.rachelsrandomresources.com for providing me with an e-copy of this book for review via Netgalley. ABOUT THIS BOOK A Notting Hill nativity… what could go wrong? Viola Smith plays the viola in an orchestra (yes really!) but this year she's been asked to stretch her musical talents to organising Notting Hill's local nativity. Nate Williams isn't looking forward to Christmas but as his small daughter, Grace, has the starring role in the show, he's forced to stop being a Grinch and volunteer with Viola. With the sparks between them hotter than the chestnuts roasting in Portobello market, Nate and Viola can't deny their feelings. And as the snow starts to fall over London, they find themselves trapped together in more ways than one… MY REVIEW Warm, endearing, and utterly loveable from beginning to end, NOTTING HILL IN THE SNOW by Jules Wake is the perfect winter read and is sure to warm your heart on these cold, dark evenings. When Viola Smith is roped into organising the local nativity in Notting Hill, she is thrown into contact with Nate Williams and his amazing daughter, Grace, who has a starring role in the play. Viola is kind, hardworking, and really puts her all into everything she does and is very considerate of others. And as she and Nate develop a friendly relationship, Nate cannot help but compare her to the other woman in his life, who has stepped out of his life for now. But as Nate and Viola's feelings grow, they both know that nothing can ever happen between them, but who knows what the future holds ... The characters, the setting, and the romance all burst to life in this beautiful story that I clicked with instantly and never wanted to end, to be honest. I loved Viola and Nate, but Nate's little girl Grace really won me over. She is such a clever, thoughtful, and sensitive child and made this great story even better in every way. The author made London appear like a movie in front of my eyes and I could almost feel the crisp air and hear the noise of the city, such is her talent. NOTTING HILL IN THE SNOW by Jules Wake would make the perfect Christmas movie and I highly recommend it to all fiction readers who love a little magic at this time of year. AUTHOR BIO Jules Wake's earliest known declaration that she planned to be a writer came at the age of ten. Along the way she was diverted by the glamorous world of PR. Eventually the voices in her head persuaded her it was time to sit down and write the novel she'd always talked about. Her debut novel, Talk to Me, in 2014, was quickly followed by the bestselling From Italy With Love, which reached the top ten in the Amazon Kindle charts. Since then she has had eight further novels published. Jules' book Covent Garden in the Snow was a Kindle Top 2 bestseller. She also writes cosy romantic fiction as Julie Caplin and her next book, The Northern Lights Lodge, will be published by HarperImpulse in early 2019.
