I was delighted when Levi from www.books2door.com got in touch and asked if I would be interested in receiving some children's books in exchange for a review, and I have to say I was very impressed with their large selection to choose from.
We have all found ourselves at home a lot now and this is the perfect time to read - whether it is reading to your child/children or finding new books to hold their attention, Books2Door has something for everyone (adults included!!). The Artemis Fowl Collection by Eoin Colfer immediately went on the list as it will soon be on our silver screens (fingers crossed) and my kids, like myself, always prefer to read the books before seeing the movie, and the boxset was great value so we thought why not buy the lot! So far, one of my kids is halfway through the set and loving it. I was feeling a little nostalgic and realised that my old copies of Enid Blyton were still in my childhood home so for starters I got The Magic Faraway Tree Collection and The Wishing Chair series. I am thoroughly enjoying stepping back in time and have already raced through the The Magic Faraway Tree collection and my youngest is now engrossed too so it's a win win. Useful for when your kids are at that stage where they want to know the ins and outs of what is happening as they develop, I remember selling a lot of What's Happening To Me? when I worked in my local bookstore so having a copy is always useful to have at hand - explaining everything in a clear and concise way you can pick and choose what you want to discuss or let older children read it by themselves and then chat later, whatever works for you. Books2Door is an excellent site offering a huge selection of genres with free shipping over £30. The books arrived in good time (allow for the current postal situation due to cover-19) and in perfect condition. I already have my list ready for my next order - Malory Towers here I come!!
