ABOUT THIS BOOK Interior Design School? Check. Cute house to fix up? Check. Sexy nemesis neighbour? Check. Unfortunately. Grace Travis has it all figured out. She'll finish her degree, get her dream job and, most importantly, she'll find a place where she can truly belong, something she never had growing up. So when the opportunity to fix up and live in a little house on the beach presents itself, Grace can finally see her plan coming together...until a problem named Noah moves in next door. Real estate developer Noah Jansen knows when he's found something special. Somewhere he could even call home. Except his plan involves taking over the house next door - Grace's new home. Everyone knows you should love your neighbour, but that's easier said than done. And Grace and Noah are about to find out just how thin the line is between love and hate... MY REVIEW Witty, heartwarming, and fun, HOW TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR by Sophie Sullivan is a wonderful contemporary romance that is sure to brighten your day. Grace Travis knows all about hard work so when she gets the chance to have a home all of her own, she is determined to put in a lot of hard work to design her little corner of the world. Who cares that it will take a long time or that she will have to do most of the work herself - that's part of the fun, right? But when her sexy neighbour wants to buy her home, sparks will fly and not always the good kind! Determined to start afresh, property developer Noah knows when he has found something special and he needs the house next door to make his dream reality. But his next-door neighbour doesn't seem to understand. As they get thrown together time and again, the tension between them is undeniable but as it begins to bubble up they will soon learn that sometimes love and hate are more closely connected than you could ever imagine. Can they find a way for both of them to get what they want? Or will the temperature between them burn them both beyond redemption? HOW TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR by Sophie Sullivan is a clever take on falling in love with the girl/guy-next-door idea and I enjoyed every moment of it. Grace wants to belong and finally has somewhere that is hers, somewhere she can belong, and it was great seeing such a strong and independent character in Grace. Noah also wants a fresh start, a chance to build his own life and his own success, so when he sees something he wants he is relentless. There are moments of laughter, sizzling chemistry, and plenty of ups and downs for them both, but I was more than happy to be along for the ride. HOW TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR by Sophie Sullivan is an enjoyable story from beginning to end with likeable characters and plenty of laughs along the way to keep you hooked. I look forward to reading more from Sophie.
