ABOUT THIS BOOK She says he's perfect. I know he's lying . . . He caught me watching, and our eyes met. That was when it hit me. There was something not quite right about my daughter's new boyfriend . . . The doting father Ed finally meets his daughter's boyfriend for the first time. Smart, successful and handsome, Ryan appears to be a real catch. Then Abbie announces their plan to get married. The perfect fiancé There's just one problem. Ed thinks Ryan is lying to them. Who would you believe? All of Ed's instincts tell him his daughter is in terrible danger - but no-one else can see it. With the wedding date approaching fast, Ed sets out to uncover Ryan's secrets, before it's too late . . . MY REVIEW Is there such a thing as the perfect man? Well, in THE CATCH by T.M. Logan this idea is confronted in haunting detail and will have you second-guessing yourself about how well you can truly know someone. Ed should be excited. His only daughter, Abby, has arrived home beaming from ear to ear because she has gotten engaged to the most wonderful man, Ryan. They are moving in together and getting hitched within the month and everything is simply perfect. But Ed can't help the feeling that there is something off about Ryan, his soon-to-be son-in-law. Something is lurking in his eyes that tells Ed he is a liar and Ed will stop at nothing to expose him for the fraud he believes him to be. But as Ed begins to wander down a dangerously obsessive path, those that love him start to worry about his mental health. For Ed has always been far too overprotective of Abby after the tragic accident that broke their hearts all those years ago, and when Ed starts doing crazy things in his quest to get rid of Ryan, the whole family begin to fear that Abby having her own life has pushed him over the edge. But Ed believes that he is right about Ryan and Abby could be in very serious danger. Is he right? THE CATCH by T.M. Logan will take you on a journey of ups and downs where one minute you will be on Ed's side and the next minute find yourself feeling sorry for Ryan whose only crime seems to be loving Abby. The author has a wonderful flair for realistic characters and these characters are no different. They all have their own flaws and secrets but have a way of connecting with the reader that works well. There is an almost uncomfortable tension that slowly built up as the story progressed until I found myself sitting up on the edge of my seat by the end, desperate to uncover the truth - and wow, what an ending! THE CATCH by T.M. Logan is an exciting and terrifying story about relationships and I cannot wait for more from this talented author. AUTHOR BIO T.M.
