ABOUT THIS BOOK Alvie Knightly is back . . . and she's hungover. When Alvie discovers that her hit man boyfriend has driven off with the Lamborghini and two million euros, she does what any heartbroken, deserted, amateur assassin would do - she drinks everything in the mini-bar and trashes her hotel room. And then she gets to work. A perilous cat-and-mouse game takes the pair across Rome, leaving a trail of collateral damage in their wake. But as she wholeheartedly embraces her dark side Alvie will have to figure out if Nino is her nemesis . . . or the only man bad enough to handle her. MY REVIEW Alvie Knightly is back with a bang and oh my, how I had missed this crazy character and her insane life. Alvie is hungover, broke, and infuriated and the cause of all of her problems has just driven off with her money in their Lamborghini. But like everything that has happened in her life so far, she refuses to sit idly by and be a victim and decides that tracking him down and taking back what is rightfully hers is the only course of action left open to her. From grenades to dead bodies, Alvie and her dangerous personality will take you to Italy where these unhinged characters will show you danger and drama like you have never seen before, all the while making you laugh out loud and connect with this mad adventure from cover to cover. Whether you love Alvie or hate Alvie, the one thing you will never be is bored with Alvie! BAD by Chloé Esposito is the second book in this series and while you definitely can read it as a standalone, I really urge you to buy both books so that you can really get to know these characters to their fullest (you won't regret it). I didn't think Mad (the first book in the series) could be topped but I was delightfully mistaken. The pace is energetic, the characters even more engaging and wild, and again Italy comes alive on the page in a very hypnotic and appealing way, and the dark humour that will make you laugh out loud is even sharper and more entertaining than before. BAD by Chloé Esposito is a corker of a novel and roll on book three!!! AUTHOR BIO Chloé Esposito is from Cheltenham and now lives in London.
