ABOUT THIS BOOK Is Paris the city of happily ever afters? Workaholic art historian Aurora Black doesn’t have time for fairy tales or Prince Charmings, even in the most romantic city in the world. She has recently been hired by a Parisian auction house for a job that could make or break her career. Unfortunately, daredevil journalist Cédric Castel seems intent on disrupting Aurora’s routine. As Aurora and Cédric embark on a journey across France, they get more than they bargained for as they find themselves battling rogue antiques dealers and personal demons, not to mention a growing attraction to each other. But with the help of a fairy godmother or two, could they both find their happily ever afters? MY REVIEW If you are looking for an adventurous romance with lovely characters and plenty of drama along the way, then look no further than A PARIS FAIRY TALE by Marie Laval. Aurora Black is a smart, sexy woman who hides her lighter side under a strict and professional facade. She is one of the best art historian/palaeographers in the world and Aurora has thrown everything into her career for two reasons - firstly because she loves it so much, and secondly because she wants to prove herself in the art history community where many of them knew her grandfather. She doesn't have time for love or happily ever afters so when she gets the opportunity to authenticate one of the oldest and rarest manuscripts to be discovered, she jumps at the chance and soon finds herself in Paris, but love is the last thing on her mind. But when Aurora finds herself caught up in an adventure with a handsome journalist, who knows what could happen? Entertaining, romantic, and sassy, A PARIS FAIRY TALE by Marie Laval is an enjoyable story about self-belief, love, and finding the strength to go after what you want. Aurora is a wonderful character and as the story developed I longed to see her open up and believe in herself a little more. A PARIS FAIRY TALE is a delightful read and is sure to please romance fans everywhere. AUTHOR BIO Originally from Lyon in France, Marie studied History and Law at university there before moving to Lancashire in England where she worked in a variety of jobs, from PA in a busy university department to teacher of French in schools and colleges. Writing, however, was always her passion, and she spends what little free time she has dreaming and making up stories. A SPELL IN PROVENCE is her first contemporary romance. It is published by Áccent Press. Her historical romances ANGEL HEART and THE LION'S EMBRACE are re-released by Accent Press. And Books 1, 2 and 3 of the DANCING FOR THE DEVIL Trilogy, a historical romance set in Scotland, have just been released.
