ABOUT THIS BOOK What would you sacrifice to protect the ones you love? Isla is a warrior of the Summer Court. She has one mission, to keep humans out of Faery. Kill them on sight. When she inadvertently saves one and triggers the mating bond, she sets in motion a series of events that will change her life forever. On the run and hiding from her own people, Isla must protect the one thing she’s been trained to hate. With magic now flowing through her veins, she must learn to control it if she is to survive. The fae are coming. Her once commander, leads the charge. Will Isla be ready in time? Can she harness her magic and resist the darkness? As both sides clash, Isla learns that her kind possesses a cruelty she could never have imagined. Her loyalty will be tested and to save the one she loves, she must give up everything, including her life as she knows it. Find out how the banshee came to exist in this dark fantasy retelling of an old Irish myth. MY REVIEW HEAR ME CRY by Amanda J Evans is a short story that packs an emotional punch and is a must for fantasy fans who love a good story. When Isla breaches the veil between the faery and human world to save a human, she begins a journey that will both break her and make her. For in the arms of the man she saves she finds her soulmate and they are bound together by magic and love. But their love is forbidden by the fae and they will hunt them down to the ends of the earth to eke out their punishment. As Isla tries to protect those she loves, she will also learn how to harness her own powers but when everything that makes her heart beat is taken away from her, Isla will suffer cruelty like no other. But is there anything more powerful than a curse? Gripping, vivid, and at times heartbreaking, this is a story of how the banshee came into existence in Irish legend and I wanted to read more from this author as soon as I turned the last page. The characters, the setting, the fantasy elements all combine perfectly to suck me into the story quickly and there is a special romance that will keep you hooked to the very end. HEAR ME CRY by Amanda J Evans will make you think about love, family, and how time is never guaranteed so grab at life and make the most of every second. A wonderful, mythical tale that will enhance any bookshelf. AUTHOR BIO Amanda J Evans is an award-winning writer of paranormal and fantasy novels as well as children’s stories.
