MY REVIEW THE LITTLE CLOCK HOUSE ON THE GREEN by Eve Devon is a thoroughly entertaining and captivating tale of love, family, and new beginnings. Kate Somersby ran away from her family and the community of Whispers Wood four years ago and has never really looked back. But when she hears that the clock house on the green is actually for sale, her old dreams that she had shared with her beloved sister, refuse to be silenced and Kate finds herself homeward bound. At the same time a stranger, Daniel Westlake, is looking for a fresh start for himself, and when he finds himself unexpectedly stranded in Whispers Wood, he spots a fabulous business opportunity with the clock house that is for sale. With two stubborn and determined people vying for the same property, the village splits into sides as Kate and Daniel battle it out to raise funds for the Summer Fete, and the winner gets the clock house. But who will win, and what crazy shenanigans will occur in the process? And is it possible for this delightful community to come together and heal those who need it most? THE LITTLE CLOCK HOUSE ON THE GREEN by Eve Devon is brimming with well-developed characters, a stunning village setting, and has plenty of laughs along the way to make this a truly enchanting read. An excellent start to what is sure to be a delightful series. BOOK RATING - 📖📖📖📖 4.5 Author Bio: Eve Devon writes sexy heroes, sassy heroines & happy ever afters... Growing up in locations like Botswana and Venezuela gave Eve Devon a taste for adventure; her love for romances began when her mother shoved one into her hands in a desperate attempt to keep her quiet during TV coverage of the Wimbledon tennis finals! When Eve wasn't consuming books by the bucketload, she could be found pretending to be a damsel in distress or running around solving mysteries and writing down her adventures. As a teenager, Eve wrote countless episodes of TV detective dramas so the hero and heroine would end up together every week. As an adult, still hooked on romance and mysteries, she worked in a library to conveniently continue consuming books by the bucketload, until realizing she was destined to write contemporary romance and romantic suspense herself.
