MY REVIEW THE LIGHTS WENT OUT AND OTHER STORIES by Fiona Cook Hogan is a dynamic and fascinating collection of stories that is sure to have something to suit everyone. From heartbreak, love, life lessons, death, and a pinch of the paranormal, this group of 21 stories is perfect to dip into or read in one sitting, which is what I did. Short and snappy with characters that are well-rounded and in some cases, very relatable, THE LIGHTS WENT OUT AND OTHER STORIES by Fiona Cook Hogan is a splendid display of different genres gathered together in one place. I had a couple of favourites but I enjoyed each and every unique story for what it was. Definitely a must-read for lovers of short stories.
