Release Date - 2nd August 2016 Book Length - 416 pages Available on - www.amazon.com | www.amazon.co.uk Jo Marie Rose knows the depth of grief and despair and vows she will never allow herself to sink back into such a low place ever again. So when the man she loves, Mark, abandons her to go on a dangerous mission to right a wrong from his past, Jo Marie vows to move on. With the magic of her beautiful B&B, Rose Harbor Inn, anything is possible. And when Jo Marie takes on a lodger at the inn, Emily Gaffney, maybe it is time for broken hearts to heal and new relationships to develop. But life is never quite that simple, even in the stunning surrounds of Cedar Cove. Emily is also carrying baggage from her past and has given up on love and marriage. Hoping to one day to adopt, she finds the perfect home for her future in Cedar Cove. But the surly current owner, Nick, has no intention of dealing with Emily on any level. But sometimes persistence is key, and a begrudging friendship can develop into something more.
Almost a year since Mark left, Jo Marie forces herself to move on with her own life and has found companionship with someone else. But when the past resurfaces, can Jo Marie figure out what is right for her? Can the magic of the Inn heal all of the damaged hearts that have found their way to its doors? SWEET TOMORROWS by Debbie Macomber is the final instalment of the Rose Harbor series but is easily read as a standalone novel. With well-developed characters, and beautiful imagery and setting, I was easily transported to Cedar Cover and the complicated lives of its inhabitants. The story is written through the viewpoints of the main characters and I really enjoyed this technique as it gave me more of an insight into what the characters were thinking and feeling. On occasion, Mark and Emily irritated me with some of their actions, but it didn't take away from the story itself. SWEET TOMORROWS by Debbie Macomber is, yet again, a charming tale of love, healing, and hope, from one of America's favourite authors.
