ABOUT THIS BOOK Seeing is believing! DCI Morgan was looking forward to returning to his old career in his beloved hometown. However, when he’s assigned to his first case, to question a young woman, Grace, who claims she has psychic abilities, he is more than a little sceptical! Grace claims to have seen the murder of a woman – Scarlett, the wife of a wealthy entrepreneur – six months ago. Her murder was supposedly solved, with the culprit in prison, and the case closed, but did it really happen the way the police were led to believe? As Grace embarks on a mission to discover the truth behind Scarlett’s death, she uncovers dark secrets, shocking revelations, and lies once buried which threaten to resurface. A twisting and turning plot, weaved with mystery, suspense, romance and more than a hint of the supernatural… MY REVIEW SEEING SCARLETT by NC Marshall is a fast-paced, exciting, and completely fresh thriller that will have you sitting up late so that you can get to the end as fast as possible to uncover the truth. DCI Morgan and his family are delighted to be back in his hometown and it is even better as he gets to work with fellow investigator Charlotte who has become a good friend. But when their first case involves a woman who claims to have experienced a psychic flashback involving an old murder which is already wrapped up, this wasn't exactly the type of crime investigating that they imagined. Grace has only ever had an out of body experience once before in her life and it is certainly not something that she enjoys. But when she sees the murder of Scarlett Preston, she cannot keep the information to herself, because there is something wrong with this case that appears to be solved and the killer may still be out there. With plenty of twists along the way, some completely unexpected and a few that I had guessed, SEEING SCARLETT by NC Marshall is a compelling story that hooked me in straight away. I really enjoyed the characters of Tony, Charlotte, and Grace and I loved the supernatural element of it all which really was unique. There is murder, secrets, lies, betrayals, and so much more and I thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish. A must-read for all crime fiction fans everywhere!!!!
