ABOUT THIS BOOK One crossed wire, three dead bodies and six bottles of bleach Seth Beauman can’t sleep. He stays up late, calling strangers from his phonebook, hoping to make a connection, while his wife, Maeve, sleeps upstairs. A crossed wire finds a suicidal Hadley Serf on the phone to Seth, thinking she is talking to The Samaritans. But a seemingly harmless, late-night hobby turns into something more for Seth and for Hadley, and soon their late-night talks are turning into day-time meet-ups. And then this dysfunctional love story turns into something altogether darker, when Seth brings Hadley home… And someone is watching… MY REVIEW What have I just read?! Seriously! GOOD SAMARITANS by Will Carver is like nothing that I have ever read before, making words like 'unique' and 'fresh' pale into insignificance when trying to come up with the right adjective for this story. Dark? Definitely. Graphic? For sure. Utterly disturbing and completely unputdownable? 100%. And you can throw in weirdly witty at times just for good measure. When insomniac and married man Seth finds himself on the phone late at night with a stranger, Hadley, who needs a sympathetic ear, these two soon find themselves desperately wanting to further their connection. But their harmless chats soon become so much more dangerous. And someone is watching them. I do not want to say too much about the plot because I really don't want to give anything away but wow seems to be the most apt word I can find at the moment. The pace is perfect, the characters truly individual and fresh, and it is safe to say that GOOD SAMARITANS by Will Carver will blow your bloody mind so many times throughout this story that you will find herself disoriented without leaving your chair. And on that note, I will leave you with this final piece of advice - BUY THIS BOOK. You can thank me later 😉 AUTHOR BIO Will Carver is the international bestselling author of the January David series (Arrow).
