ABOUT THIS BOOK Hope springs eternal in this enchanting Texas town. Meet Gillian Thacker. Her business: Bliss Bridal Salon. Her passion: Weddings. Her own wedding: It’s complicated. Life isn’t turning out like she’d planned. The last thing she wants is for a real-life hero to ride to her rescue when an unexpected event puts her entire future in Redemption, Texas, at risk. So what’s a broken-hearted bridal expert to do? Maybe a new set of survival skills is exactly what she needs… Tucker McBride has been proud to call himself a U.S. Army Ranger. But now that his days of service are over, he’s decided to put his expertise to use by founding a wilderness skills training school. He sets up shop in Redemption, next to Bliss Bridal, and so begins life: Part Two. Marriage has been pretty low on his agenda, but as soon as he meets Gillian, Tucker can’t help but contemplate the ultimate challenge: Convincing the reluctant bride to take his hand and leap into the adventure of a lifetime. . .until death do they part. MY REVIEW For anyone who is looking for a good old-fashioned romance that will leave you swooning, then look no further than ETERNITY SPRINGS: THE MCBRIDES OF TEXAS and TUCKER in particular. Gillian Thacker is a successful businesswoman with a great relationship with her family, and a wonderful fiancé, Jeremy, who is soon to become her husband. But when cracks begin to show in her relationship and the wedding gets called off, Gillian has to face up to the reality that something was wrong between them for a long time and that maybe she cannot trust her judgement and decisions as well as she thought. So when she becomes friends with Tucker McBride, a retired U.S. Army Ranger who is setting up his own business and figuring out his own future, Gillian knows that she cannot let herself have feelings for him - after all, look at her track record. But Tucker is a McBride and the McBrides are determined to go after what they want. But when Gillian's ex drops another bombshell on her, and a hasty decision in an exciting city leaves Gillian with even more things to figure out, will Tucker be able to convince Gillian that what they have between them is unlike anything either of them have had before and that a love like that is worth fighting for? Throw in some wonderful friendships, a few laughs, and some misunderstandings along the way, and this romance has simply got it all. The characters are so loveable, except the ones that obviously aren't, and the setting is as beautiful as it always is in Emily March's stories. I smiled, I blushed, I swooned, and I got mad alongside Gillian and I desperately wanted her to remember who she really is underneath all of her hurt and to go after what she wants in her heart. Tucker is a wonderful main character - strong and upfront but with a gentler side that makes your heart flip - and I would definitely sign up to a wilderness class with someone like him as a teacher! ETERNITY SPRINGS: THE MCBRIDES OF TEXAS - TUCKER by Emily March is everything you could want in a romance novel and more and I cannot wait for the next instalment. AUTHOR BIO Emily March is the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and USA Today bestselling author of over thirty novels, including the critically acclaimed Eternity Springs series. Publishers Weekly calls March a "master of delightful banter," and her heartwarming, emotionally charged stories have been named to Best of the Year lists by Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, and Romance Writers of America. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Emily is an avid fan of Aggie sports and her recipe for jalapeño relish has made her a tailgating legend.
