ABOUT THE BOOK When Annie Trebarwith unexpectedly inherits Tregavara House, her much-loved family home atop the cliffs of Salt Bay, she begins to wonder: with all the good friends and warm memories she’s made in the village, could it be her forever home? Luckily her gorgeous Poldark-lookalike boyfriend, Josh Pasco, has exactly the same idea. High on the Cornish cliffs he gets down on one knee, and Annie has everything she’s ever dreamed of. But when a summer storm causes catastrophic damage to the beautiful but aging house, Annie and Josh are faced with tumbling tiles and a massive repair bill – and a roof that’s leaked straight onto her wedding gown… Can the Salt Bay community save Annie’s house and her wedding – and give Annie the happy-ever-after she’s always wanted? MY REVIEW We are back with a bang with Annie and the wonderful community of Salt Bay in ANNIE'S SUMMER BY THE SEA by Liz Eeles. After inheriting Tregavara House, life is good for Annie and those she has come to love in this picturesque Cornish village, and setting down roots is beginning to look very appealing. But as always, life is never that simple, and Annie soon finds herself with a house that is falling apart and a wedding that may not even happen. Can Annie save the home she loves and marry her dream man in a place that has become so special to her? The third book in this series, ANNIE'S SUMMER BY THE SEA by Liz Eeles can easily be read as a standalone but I know that you will want to read the others in this witty and light series so treat yourself and buy the set! As always the setting of Salt Bay comes alive and you can smell the sea, and taste the freshness of the air as you get lost among the quirky and loveable community. The characters are dynamic, relatable, and likeable and I flew through this book in one sitting. ANNIE'S SUMMER BY THE SEA by Liz Eeles is a fresh, vibrant, and completely exciting story about love, friendship, and the value of community and is definitely worth reading. AUTHOR BIO I live on the South Coast with my husband. It's just the two of us now because our grown-up children have moved out. I do miss them, but it is nice to have more time for writing - sorry, kids! I write funny, feel-good novels set in gorgeous Cornwall, which gives me a great excuse to go there on research trips (though my husband refers to them as 'holidays'). And, having worked as a journalist and press officer over the years, I'm fortunate enough now to write novels full-time. When I've notched up the required daily word count, I enjoy reading, walking by the sea with friends, singing in a local choir, and watching TV. I love sci-fi programmes and still harbour a childhood crush on Captain Kirk.
